I bought Adventure De Kannan ( aka Addy) from Dawn in 2004 after searching for my dream horse for 6 months. I'd been to view all sorts and nothing lived up to the adverts. It was so refreshing to meet Dawn who was totally honest about what her horses had done or not done.
After trying Addy a couple of times I decided to take the plunge and buy him.I can honestly say from the time Dawn delivered him to this day he has never put a foot wrong either at home or when we're out and about.He took me from never having jumped a track or xc course to jumping1.20m and competing in eventing.
Then while I was pregnant, to keep him ticking over, Trevor Breen took over the ride.The pair of them have gone from strength to strength.In 2009 Addy won the Hickstead Speed Derby and in 2010/2011 as well as winning and being placed in international Grand Prixs he has been on 3 successful Irish Nations Cup teams.
Whenever I get the chance I still get on him and pop him round a 90cm or do a dressage test on him and he still behaves like a total gentleman with me.

I have bought two fabulous horses from Dawn and Donny. Tiamo, a 6-year-old Dutch warmblood by Flemmingh and Blixem a 3-year-old Stallion by Samba Hit ii. Tiamo has been a total gem, he taught me everything and we formed a great partnership. Every year we managed to qualify for the regionals and were always at the top end of the score board! Tiamo was also chosen to represent England at the BYRDS Home International in 2009 and we were part of the North-West team at the Under 25's at Sheepgate in 2008. I couldn't have wished for a better horse, who was also known as the "one with the fabulous walk" which often scored 9s!
The newest addition, Blixem,is certainly one in a million! Love him to bits! I have been told by international and national dressage trainers that he will certainly make Grand Prix and that he is a very talented horse. When I saw him advertised I knew that no matter what I had to have him - and having bought from Dawn and Donny there was no question about it that he would turn into a superstar! This year we are hoping to contend in the young horse classes and compete at some Novice and elementary classes.
I would absolutely recommend Dawn and Donny and for any future purchases I wouldn't consider going any where else! So thank you both for finding me two fabulous horses.

Hi Dawn and Donny, I just wanted to tell you how pleased i am with Bentley. Hes exactly what i was looking for, a real quality talanted young horse. hes only been to a handful of shows, but has already been placed a few times. Im really excited about picking Queeny VD Tojo H Z up on saturday, she looks like a potential star, like you said obviously needs the flatwork but im prepared to put that in. I bought my first horse from dawn in 2006 and have continued to buy young horses from Sports Horse Continental. Currently my 2 top horses are Erasmus Van De Heffinck (Ben) who was bought as a 5 year old in 2009 and Explosief Van De Heffinck (ex) who i bought as a 2 year old from dawn in 2006. Both horses were selected for the World Class Equine Pathway in 2010 and are turning into superstars with trainable brains and ulmited scope. Ex has gone from strength to strength throughout his career, qualifying major finals in 2011 such as HOYS and SCOPE. I couldnt of asked for a more special horse, he is a lovely natured stallion, stunning to look at with a big personality and has recently been liceneced with the AES 2011. Ben has also qualified HOYS and Scope this year and is the most chilled out horse i have, he takes everything in his stride, and when winning his HOYS second round qualifier at weston lawns the third round ended up at 1'50. The bigger the fence the better as he has an unbelievable amount of scope. In 2010 i bought Codilia who is now 4years old and is showing amazing scope and promise. Already double clearing in discovery she will be aimed at 5 year olds in 2012. I always look on the website for young horses coming in and will definatly be dealiing with dawn and donny in the future when i see a horse that i like. Thanks again for everything.Danielle Jolliffe. We have bought and sold many horses off Dawn & Donny over the years in fact to many to mention. I have bought both my own personal horses and horses to produce and sell on from them and every one has been exactly what they said it was, all proving to be talented horses.
There has never been a time that you aren’t welcomed and the service and helpfulness is 100% meaning if they haven’t had in what we was looking for the have gone out and found it for us.

We have bought four horses from Dawn and Donny over the past two years. Both of the 5yr olds were selected for the World Class Equine Pathway. Woodstock was 5th in the 5yr old Final at the Welsh Masters and is showing fantastic potential. Spudley was sold on to an event yard where he went on to qualify for the prestigious Burghley Young Event Horse Final 2011. We also bought two other young horses both are 4yr olds now and are showing great talent.
 
Dawn and Donny offer good quality horses at reasonable prices, they were very honest and offered a fantastic service. Since meeting them we have become great friends and we would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a young horse.
